A weekend of firsts- first opera (ghandi!), first hookah-smoking (apple!), first time in Bay Ridge (new friends!), first Croatian (?!) and first BBQ of the year (beercan chicken!) Pepper all the firsts with some longstanding faves (cop dramas, brunch, Grayskull) and it has been a pretty great weekend.
So why can't I stop picking fights? (No jokes about Croatian conflict please.)

First time smoking hookah? What are you, a middle school girl with an overbearing mother that you love so much because you've never really experienced love. Or something.
The conductor of Satyagraha is my former boss' husband, Dante. I heard it was a pretty amazing opera. Did you shell out for the money seats?
