#7- variety pack

I am wearing plain black socks today, very boring and functional. Thing is, I purchased them unknowingly- they were in a variety pack with fancy argyle socks on the outside. I had no idea what was in the middle of the package. A trick! The company shoves their old blackies in the center, leaving suckers like me to pay the price.

I remember "they" used to do the same trick with comic books. The three pack would be Spiderman and Daredevil on the outside, then the one in the middle would be like "Mister Snuggly Does the Dishes" or some shit.
