#5- two rascals

This weekend jo and I attended a sweet little dinner function at the top of Queens. For my contribution, I spent $21 on six pieces of cheesecake from a peevish old Italian man. (Until the hostess reads this blog post, she will never know of my sacrifices.)

So here's the weird thing- even though this dessert looked delicious drizzled in chocolate and powdered sugar, and I mortgaged my house to get it, we decided to lie to everyone. We told the party guests we brought cannolis and they all got really excited. Then we disappointed everybody when we admitted it was boring old cheesecake inside the container. Good $21 prank!
