Seventh ward, Well, my love for MKE had a big part to do with the people I lived with and spent time with. I lived in MKE when I was going to Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC)...so I didn't have the pressures of finding a place to live (I had an apartment thru school), or paying rent etc.
We went to lots of shows and plays (and bars--water street was a staple for a good time). It depends on where you live in MKE I guess and the people you have around you. :)
I always had a theory that if I moved to a city like, say Cleveland, from NY, I'd be really popular, because everyone would be like "wow, a New Yorker, someone actually chose to move here." Of course I'm not a New Yorker and also Mila-waukee, the good land, is not Cleveland, but I feel it's the same basic idea. Though I do have a pretty positive notion of Mke.

Very posh-posh. Milwaukee is awesome--I loved the year I lived there!
everyone all together, sitcom style..."awwwwwww".
p- Not going to spend much time in Brew City, that's just the touchdown point.
a- I will eat your black heart.
I see how you are! Too good for the Brew? :) Have fun NEWAZ (wow, total high school flasback with that one...)
Prahagirl - What's your secret to loving MKE? I've been here for 9.5 months and "love" does not come close to my feelings for the place.
