I've been reading Margarita Island travel tips from past visitors and some of them are pretty great:

Mind the icecream on the beach! before you know the put the ice in your hand an let you pay the 10x of the price... The paper is of the ice, so you'll pay! first ask the price... don't ask for 'an icecream'
The travelagencies are warning...

The travelagencies are warning the tourist for the pirates. Pirates are people who are selling trips to the tourist for a cheaper price than the travelagencies. As you can imagine the travelagencies don't improve this. So they warn the tourist for the evil pirates. Oke, I can tell you that I did a trip with one of these pirates. And it was perfect !!! A nice scuba-diving trip to a little pelican-island. On the little boat we got some soda and some chips. The 'pirate' was a perfect guide under water. Actually......the 'pirate' looked a bit like Jesus...and you know what his name was ??? Yesss..Jesus. Funny hé ??!!

Pirate tour guides? What could be better!
this posting to your blog caused me to laugh many times in my mind, but not out-loud. could it be becuase they were written by others?
from now on, i will write "oke"!
mainly i do not understand what the people are saying, but this is why i like it. these language barriers are incredibly amusing! thank you friend!!!
