Well it's sorta funny because she said Big Dig instead of Big Bang, and it's made more funny because it subtly points out te ridiculousness of creationists who say that kind of stuff. I still feel like I'm missing out on another aspect of it's humor though. My guess is that it's also a take on a line from some movie or book.

yes, it's funny to thnk that she meant 'big bang' instead of 'big dig', but it's even funnier to think of 'the big dig as just a theory', since it's taken them so goddamn long to complete it, it still leaks, and it's still not finished...and we're very unclear still, about where all of our money went.
ding ding, april and charlie split the points. ved loses points for drinking away charlie's memory.
I was picking nicole up from the bus station the other weekend and I waited for over an hour in artery traffic. I told her that I thought it was the Big Dig that slowed things down. She put her hands on her hips and said "The Big Dig is just a theory, Mr. Hirsch." That's all.
lol that is funny! What makes even more so is the fact that before he died, Darwin himself said he made it all up. (But that's the part they don't tell you in school or in studying evolution!)

yes. darwin DID had something to do with the big bang. he said (clears throat and put on his Jewish grandfather voice) "vat, you think we're all just pansies here? my mother used to hit me on the head like this, and bang, i vould sit up straight and do my homeworkkkk. now, scram like goyim or i give you a big bang on the head!"
