2) One Leg at a Time
I was kinda nervous about meeting my roommate's boyfriend Ron. Fun facts I knew prior to meeting him:
-Over 40
-Sometimes wears a horse's head when he performs with his band
-Band is semi-famous (cover of the Wire Magazine, national and European tours, etc.)
-Owns a record label
-Is a huge bearded man
Because this guy was fast becoming an intimidating legend in my mind, it was a relief when I finally met him on Sunday night. Why? Because the first thing he did was go drop a major stinkbomb in our bathroom. Kinda looks like we're working off the same page.

I disagree, jesse - i think you are fucking wretch. I'll thank you very much to keep the fecal matter out of my At Work reading.
Just kidding, you know I love the dump humor - what's the one about the clevland steamer?
Wait wait, does this guy go by the stage name 'Iron Lung' by any chance? I used to listen to this band in highschool called scissorfight headed by one Ironlung who fits this descrip...
i am not too worried about this guy.
thanks jen, kind words are a balm.
ved I hope this blog doesn't now come up on a google search of "cleveland steamers." Like I need more fecal freaks in my life...
beth it's my joke.
balm is like one of those word that has, oh man my powers of description wane, you know, an onomatopoeic effect. The sound of "alm" words are in themselves soothing (palm trees sway and are soothing). If anyone knows some linguistic term that better suits this relationship and hence cause/effect riddle for me (is it psychosomatic that I think this sound is soothing? Or is it part of why this word meaning soothing substance was spelled that way?) I will be, um, interested.
Sorry I do not know whence that came. Cept my unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
i guess you are right jesse, a better outlet for my thoughts would be my own blog. not your comments section.
please just answer the question.
i think "salve" has a similar effect. maybe there's something about the 'l' that you kind of have to make an effort to pronounce.
