confetti drifting

Did I mention that my blog is going offline september 1st? I've been writing this thing for over two years and it's time to pursue other creative outlets. A Fresh Start, if you will. I'm not ruling out another blog sometime in the future but come Friday, say goodnight to confetti. No tears, let me put things in perspective for you.

To me, this video indicates that we are on a one-way path to a nightmarish techno-future, straight out of a Philip Dick novel. It precludes the possibility of true love, trees, kindness and sunshine.

I am quite saddened to hear that your blog is going offline, it's been really nice "keeping in touch" with you this way and I was looking forward to hearing about your adventures in NYC. Sure you won't reconsider?

Jesse, how can you be so mean? Now that I hear you are going to take down your blog, I can't go on ... It's a slow drifting of all good things in life. The music we are hearing is actually Mozart's "Requiem." Or it's something they played at Diana's funeral .. cannot remember the name. Not the Elton John song.

Don't go! How will I know about the life of a stranger anymore?

This blows.

nah, keep your blog up and running and write when the spirit moves you, whether it's in a couple of weeks or a couple of months

I agree with Milkman--There will be those moments when you will find something completely hilarious and think, "I'm totally blogging this later..." and then you will stop and with a heart-wretching jolt, realize that you can't do that because you took your blog off...then where will you be?

:)
