A-courtin'

This is one of my favorite vintage photo finds. Even thought the guy is probably her stuffy father, I'd rather think this is a window on an unlikely romance.
He- accounts manager at the third-biggest rubber manufacturer in Pittsburgh.
She- trust fund baby, artist, intellectual.
Their love has nothing to do with money. She gravitates towards him because he is solid, kind and steady (unlike most of the careless, handsome, fly-by-night fellows she usually dates.) He of course loves her youth, her vivacity and her lust for life. She does most of the talking.

"And you see honey? This is what the outdoors looks like!"
"she's my coney island baby...she's my coney island girl..."
Divine story, crafty comments, for a very pleasant photo; They BOTH appear to be joyously delighted in happiness by their beaming smiles.
It's more of a personal perception thing- He definitely isn't frowning.
It's the Last Tycoon.
